Summary
Titan Poker is the biggest site represented on the iPoker network. Titan has been around for a few years, and has developed into a solid site in the Online Poker industry.
The tables are filled with many new players, and players from the online casino, making the action consistently loose.
The best thing on this site right now is that it has crazy Freerolls and bonuses for PokerNews players. Titan's site traffic is great considering it does not allow players from the U.S.A.
The majority of the games on Titan poker are No-Limit Holdem games, and the most traffic is at the middle to lower limits. Since Titan is on the IPoker Network, all the games are pretty much the same as any of the skins. The main difference in Titan and the others is the Freerolls and promotions Titan does. While all sites run many promotions and enticements, Titan runs more, and runs them very well. Another great thing about Titan Poker is how it sends countless poker players to every Pro Tour tournament there is all around the world.
Cash Games
Titan Poker has good action at all times in its cash games. They are on the iPoker network so the games and software is all pretty much the same. They provide the usual games: Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, 7 Card Stud, and 5 Card Stud. These are available in No Limit, Limit and Pot Limit structures.
They have full-ring games in addition to 6 handed or heads-up tables. Titan also has 'turbo' cash tables enabling many hands per hour. The limits range from $0.02c-$0.04c to $300-$600, so there is something for everyone. Most of the traffic is concentrated in the middle to lower spectrum; however there are bigger games readily available.
There is also a 'High Hand' promotion and Bad Beat Jackpot tables available.
Be sure to always check the 'promotions' tab on the Titan main page, since it is always adding new promotional offers and rewards to give the players some added value.
Sit and Go
The SnGs on Titan vary in buy-in ranges of amounts from $0.12 to $1050, and come in all the games the room offers. The regular one table SnGs are 10 or 6 handed. There is also 20 and 30 person SnGs. The SnG traffic is good as there are always many of them running, and many more to choose from. The most popular are the NL Holdem games which run non-stop.
There are 'Jackpot' SnGs on Titan that are an awesome promotion in idea. These tourneys have added prizes or bonuses if you win a number of them consecutively. Every poker player will have streaks of several wins in a row, and this is an extra way of Titan acknowledging great success where it is due. The only real downside to these 'Jackpot Tourneys' is that the fee for the SnG is a little bit higher than one might expect.
The SnGs are unique on this site, and this is due to the enormous amount of satellite and promotional tournaments available. The satellite SnGs vary in size and structure more, depending on the event it's targeting. There are enough satellites of different kinds to provide options for qualification, which is always a bonus.
MTTs
The beauty of the Multi Table Tournaments on Titan revolves around Satellite entries to the WSOP, tournaments around Europe and of course the ECOOP. They host many different satellites to events, and send a decent amount of people to these events through Freerolls, especially with the PokerNews bonuses. The tournaments here start as high a $1060, and go all the way down to the micro limits. Many of Titans tournaments have guaranteed prize pools, so they attract good fields.
They showcase rebuy and regular tournaments and hold Freerolls for the new and recreational players. The tournaments are easy to find in the lobby, and start often. Generally the players are not very solid, so winning a MTT isn't as difficult as some of the other big sites on the market.
Showcase Tournaments
Titan and the network host what is called the ECOOP. The European Championship of Online Poker is a 10 day competition with a different main event every day, with an overall guarantee of $3.6 million. The goal is to determine the best online tournament players in Europe. Each winner gets a bracelet, and huge chunk of cash and a shot in a 50k free roll with all the other winners to determine the ECOOP MVP. There are countless SnG and MTT satellites for these events, so you can try to get in pretty cheaply.
Interface / User-Friendliness
Titans Poker generally has clean and basic graphics. They are not bad, however they could leave something to be desired, but how far can one really go with poker site graphics anyways? The loose play makes up for it. The avatars at the table are good 3D graphics, and the animations are pretty basic. There is a bit too much blinking things and busy color schemes occurring, which can get annoying, and they have had bug issues in the past, but other than that, both the lobby and cashier interfaces are nice.
Navigation is simple, and nothing is hard to find, which is always great. The speed of the actual games is good, and the hand history feature is nice. They have note taking and friend finding features too which are useful. Overall the interface and playability is modest and efficient. It is basically the same on every site on this network, and it gets the job done. The software is available in 11 languages so it ready to play for anyone.
Level of Play
The level of play on Titan is actually pretty loose. This could be from all the new players and people that mainly use the casinos coming out to try the poker tables. The rake on this site is also slightly lower than most other sites, which is always a bonus. The lower limit No-Limit games are notoriously soft, with many players inclined to gamble or just play badly.
Support and Cashier
Titan mainly offers live chat support. They also have email and phone support. The support at Titan is for the most part informative, friendly and helpful.
The Cashier is easy to use. Depositing and Withdrawing is carried out with ease.
Conclusion
Overall Titan is a fine site. The strongest point being that they host numerous satellite opportunities to go to events all over the world. The lower spectrum No Limit games are soft, and are a good place to have some fun action. Site traffic is good; there are always tables to be found of all styles and buy-ins. The jackpot tables are fun, and Titan is always cooking up cool promotions for the players. There is not much bad stuff to say about this site, aside from the graphics being a bit outdated. PokerNews especially recommends this site because signing up through us gives some great bonuses.
